Aviation Management and Economics Conference (AMEC)

AMEC focuses on high quality research in air transport economics and neighboring fields. AMEC builds on the ATARD network and tries to encourage research in air transport and regional development. AMEC cooperates with European Aviation Conference as it will take place always one day before the EAC. While the EAC focuses on one policy issue, AMEC is open for all topics. AMEC cooperates with the EAC to strengthen the dialogue between theory and practice by poster sessions of young researchers, presentations of master program and research projects at the EAC.
The conference will be held in Vienna on 6th November in conjunction with the EAC 2019 “Challenges and Innovation in Pricing and Revenues”, which will be held on 7th/8th November 2019. The theme of AMEC will be ‘Current research and trends of air transport’.
Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:
Air Transport and Regional Development
Airline and airport business models
Air Traffic Management
Hub and regional airports
Airline economics and finance
Emerging and mature markets
Sustainable aviation and environmental problems of aviation
Aviation safety and security
The role of ICT (including disruptive technologies)
Aviation governance and regulation
Air transport and tourism

All manuscripts will be subjected to double blind peer-review and are expected to meet the scientific criteria of novelty and academic excellence.
At least one author must register for the Conference as the paper presenter.
To facilitate scheduling, presenters must be available for the whole duration of the conference.
Submissions via email and late submissions may not be accepted.
The structured abstract should include the following:
purpose of the research (20-40 words)
research design, methodology or approach (35-70 words)
(expected) research findings (35-70 words)
originality/contribution of your research paper (35-70 words)
most important references (2-5 references).

Authors can choose the poster session for the presentation of material that would benefit from one-to-one discussion. This option can be selected in the form for Abstract submission.

Cancellation & Refund Policies:
All cancellation of registration must be done in writing and submitted to the local organiser via e-mail at email@example.com. Full refund is allowed for cancellations received on or before 15th September after deducting other related fees and charges incurred in connection with such refunds, including costs of foreign exchange conversion. There will be no refund after 1st October 2019.
